Central Sector Scheme for AYURSWASTHYA

Ministry of Ayush has Implemented a Central Sector Scheme namely Ayurswasthya Yojana with effect from 01.04.2021 having components
(i) Ayush & Public Health (PHI)
(ii) Upgradation of facilities to Centre of Excellence (CoE).

The scheme has been approved for F.Y. 2021-22 to 2025-26. The objective of the PHI component of Ayurswasthya Yojana is to promote Ayush interventions for community healthcare and documentation of the efficacy of Ayush systems in various public health issues which can be taken up in large scale for implementation in the National Health Programme. The objective of Ayush for sports medicine is to promote use of Ayush interventions in sports medicine for promoting health and fitness of sports persons and sports related injuries with rehabilitation. The objective of the CoE component is to support establishment and upgradation of both functions and facilities of reputed institutions to strengthen Ayush professionals in education, technology, research & innovation and other fields necessary for promotion of Ayush at National as well International level.
